Healthy Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

If there’s one thing that gets me up in the mornings, it’s this healthy and delicious breakfast smoothie.

Juices and smoothies bought from the shops have a bad rap for being filled with sugar. Making them at home ensures you know exactly what you’re putting into your body and saves you money.

This healthy breakfast smoothie is yummy enough to make you want to get up in the mornings but quick enough to make, to get you out the door.


  • 2 cups of coconut water
  • 1 tablespoon of manuka honey (manuka honey is a great natural sweetener)
  • 1 cup of frozen berries
  • 1 medium-large banana
  • 1/2 cup of plain greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (alternative – olive oil, they are both healthy oils)
  • 1 cup of ice


Place all ingredients in a blender and whip up your delicious, healthy breakfast smoothie.
